How do I title investment and subscription documents for the Rocket Dollar IRA LLC? Can I customize the LLC name?

Do not use your personal name on any investment subscription documents, account applications, or any other alternative investment-related documents. Make sure everything is in the name of your IRA LLC.

Any investment(s) made out of an LLC should be titled in the name of the LLC. For example, if your name is John Doe, your LLC’s name is likely JDOE RD LLC. If you purchase a rental property, you will have the property titled JDOE RD LLC, and you will sign all documents as John Doe, LLC Manager.

Custom LLC Names

Custom LLC Names can be requested by Gold customers during the IRA account opening process. You should be able to enter a name for the LLC during onboarding. Support will reach out to you to confirm this name selection.

Who is the manager of the LLC?

You are the manager of your IRA LLC. The LLC is a manager-managed, single-member LLC. This cannot be changed.

Who is the beneficial owner?

You are the beneficial owner of your IRA LLC. For example, if your name is John Doe, then John Doe is the "beneficial owner" of his IRA LLC.

Who is my custodian?

And how do I enter their information on investment documents, if asked?

If you are using our Custodian Partner Solera National Bank

Solera Natl Bank, CUST for Firstname Lastname, Trad IRA (or ROTH IRA).

If you are using our Custodian Partner Goldstar Trust

Your personal name on documents

Do not use your personal name on the investment subscription documents, account applications, or any other alternative investment-related documents.

You cannot title investments you make from your IRA in your personal name.

For example, a cryptocurrency exchange account application or real estate deed and title would have to be in the name of JDOE RD LLC or your custom LLC name for Gold customers.
